Q: Is it really easy to make and upload Flash videos like you say it is?
A: Absolutely. It wasn't that easy for me the first time because I had to search out every component, try them all out and choose the best ones. I know it's this easy now. The proof is that I do it every day.
Q: What if I get stuck and just can't figure it out even with this Ebook.
A: Well, we're sure you won't, but in the remote chance you do, we have real, live customer support, not some darned trouble ticket service. (At least for now. I'll let you know if we get overwhelmed.) We are only an email or phone call away. You see, I was a music teacher and high school band director for 12 years. I'm used to explaining step by step to students. Try teaching a 10 year old kid to put together a clarinet and learn to make music on it sometime. This book is a walk in the park compared to that!
Q: Do you really think Flash is the only way to go?
A: Definitely. Notice that all the video upload sites take whatever you send up and reformat it into Flash. The reason is that Flash is on almost every computer on the planet and it's fast. It is the killer app.
Q: I've noticed some of the movie sites use other formats too. What's up with that.
A. If you have huge bandwidth and streaming capabilities on your server you can use some of the other formats, such as Quicktime, which give excellent quality. Most of us do not have those resources to work with.
Q: Is this the only video product you have available?
A: Yes, for right now, but we are building a business that includes real, practical help on the more intricate details of video and Internet marketing. We will let you know when each new release becomes available.
Q: What if I know someone else who could use your book?
A. I invite you to join our affiliate program. It's free and we pay 55% commission. It's another way to make some extra cash.
Q: What is the best resolution size for video on my website?
A: With the MediaPlayer.swf that we use you can set up any size you want. I look at the video on the webpage the same way I might decorate a room. You don't want a piece of furniture that overwhelms the room, but you also don't want it to get lost in the clutter. I'm pretty consistent with my videos and make them either 352x288 or 480x360. You can see the differences on my blog.
Please let us know if you have any issues or find any parts that may need better explanations.
You are invited to join our Video Publishing Gold Club by sending an email to the address on page 72 of the book.
We wish you every success!
